The FLaNET Carcinoid Community is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to raising awareness of Neuroendocrine Tumors and Carcinoid, providing education and support for patients with NETs and their caregivers, and funding for NET and carcinoid research.

Mission:

The FLaNET Carcinoid Community (FLNCC) educates patients diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).  The FLNCC provides a vehicle to engage the medical community with patients and their caregivers. Additionally, the FLNCC serves as a NET advocate, providing opportunities for our members to connect with others who have been diagnosed with these rare illnesses. This will allow NET patients to give and receive important emotional support while obtaining answers to their questions.

TO CREATE GREATER NET AWARENESS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY, LEADING TO A MORE UNIFIED PATIENT VOICE, SUPPORTING EARLIER DETECTION AND SUBSEQUENT TREATMENT OF THESE RARE DISEASES.

Goal:

To create greater NET awareness within our community that leads to earlier detection and subsequent treatment of these rare diseases.
